Hi, my name is Montana
My path weaves together herbalism, nourishment, spiritual practice, and a deeply personal journey of healing and transformation.
My connection with herbalism began from a desire to support the body and spirit through natural remedies, teas, and plant-based nourishment. Over time I have developed a deep respect for the wisdom of plants and the ways they can support emotional balance, calm the nervous system, and bring the body back into harmony. I love sharing simple, approachable ways for people to work with herbs and bring plant medicine into their daily lives.
My professional background began in the world of food and hospitality, where I ran a catering business and discovered how powerful it can be when people gather around nourishing food and meaningful experiences. Those years helped shape my understanding that food, care, and community are deeply connected to healing.
A large part of my life has also been devoted to personal recovery and inner work. Through more than two decades in recovery communities, I experienced firsthand the power of honest sharing, compassion, and deep human connection. Standing in rooms where people courageously spoke their truth helped me learn how to listen, hold space for others, and speak openly about the process of growth and healing.
My search for understanding has also led me through meditation retreats, contemplative practices, and spiritual exploration across multiple traditions. Through these experiences I have met people from many cultures and backgrounds, which has expanded my appreciation for the many ways human beings seek growth, awakening, and peace.
Within this retreat, I share my passion for herbalism, nourishment, and mindful living. Together with Malani and Sergio, we are creating a space where participants can explore healing, connection, and personal transformation through community, meditation, and supportive daily practices.
I approach this work not from a place of perfection, but from lived experience. I continue to grow, learn, and walk this path alongside others. My hope is that through this retreat we can come together with openness and courage, and rediscover the wisdom and strength that already lives within each of us.
